Lions MD 39 E Home District Leadership Newsletter District Directory Conventions District Projects Lion Year Goals Clubs Links Calendar History Orientation DISTRICT LEADERSHIP Every year the East Idaho Lions elect their leadership with a District Governor, First Vice District Governor, and Second Vioe District Governor. These leadership positions are an integral part of supporting all of the Lions Clubs in eastern Idaho with training, coordination, and communicating about Lions activities from around Idaho and the world. The District Governor serves a one year term while the next two years of District leadership are trained and mentored to take over the position. The First Vice District Governor moves up to the District Governor position the next Lion year followed by a year later by the Second Vice District Governor. A new Second Vice District Governor is nominated then elected each year. Each year the District Governor appoints a Cabinet to support the goals and action plans for the District.
