Hi Folks, There is an online petition being taken at : www.PetitionOnline.com/pfcmongo/petition.html to urge the D.O.D. to award a medal to those who served during the Cold War Era. I personally feel that we (I served 61-64) deserve some recognition for our service to our country. The Congress approved the issuance of the medal and the money is already in the budget, but D.O.D.(Sec. Rumsfeld) for some reason has decided not to do it. I would appreciate it if you would think it over, and if you agree with me,go to the site and sign the petition. You DO NOT have to be a Cold War Veteran to sign, just a citizen of the U.S.A.. Thanks, Charlie Moy..A,2/12TH..61-63 ..E,(later B) 1/16th..63-64 Big Red One . Please pass this on.

Hello this site is great, it brings back fond memories I have of Grace and the wonderful people who sponsored a Lions Youth exchange from Australia, in the early 70's. Hello to everyone in that wonderful town. Cheers Rhonda. Ballarat. Victoria rhonda_woolf@hotmail.com

Hello Fellow Lion, I just wanted to tell you about a new website that Multiple District 43 Kentucky is developing for the Lions District and Clubs Nation wide, and eventually world wide. Please check it out and sign our guest book. We hope to get other state involved in this project. Please let us know what you think. Website Features: Club Search Members Search Search by Zip Code Business Directory District and Club Events Calendar Lion's Obituary Classifieds Pin Trader (Coming Soon-would like to create a pin catalog with all pins in the Lions Club) And Much more... Thanks, William R. Richardson PS: Could you please add a link from your website to ours http://www.usalions.com/ If your district would like to be a part of this website please let us know. We have designed the site to provide the Lion's a way to bring money, by selling sponsor ship ads. We can send you more information on this if you are interested. Please pass this site to other lions and friends.

Great Job - Congratulations Ron, you've created a masterpiece! Hopefully all clubs will come forth and use this program, which should in turn bring our District closer together. What a wonderful opportunity you have developed, not only with Lions International info, but for our District 39-E. Thanks!
